I always like dragg'in the two old 69A's out.
Fun guns.
One has had the stock tweeked.

Can't wait to git that rusted Trombone back and git the measels cleaned awf it and do some reblue.
Toss a wee M8 on the mount and go try it out.

Semi - Bought a Savage 64, brand new, $199 Brand New at local Canadian Tire. I have owned a few semis over the years, and I just don't love them. We are talking about a ".22 cal Two Gun" club level match; and I needed a rifle. Last year at the National Range Day, one of our members brought a plastic 64, and a couple brought 10-22s. The 64 was way more reliable with no jams or FTFs. Lots of feeding issues with the 10-22s.

I have put about 300 rounds of everything from SK to CCI std to stingers to Remington to automatch to Winchester HP. Not a single jam, no ftfs no ftes, and more accurate than i need for it's intended purpose. Cheap, reliable, shoots stingers well... my new truck gun LOL.

I love to practice shooting off hand with iron sights using my kochetov .22 rifle. Good trigger, good sights, heavy barrel, very cheap.

I prefer calling it by it's designer's name because tula toz-8m is a mouthful.

I really enjoy my Ruger Sr22 I just acquired from a buddy. Would recommend the 10/22 platform. Lots of models, and lots of mods/accessories available to you on the market that you could make your own if you desired.

I love my norinco jw25 it's accurate as hell and you can mount a bayonet! who dosent want to have a bayonet on their 22 lololol. I just wish I had got another one when they were available can't find any anymore.

Tikka T1x. Very accurate. If a wood stock is a must then CZ. I looked at both options before going with the T1x. There are quite a few variations if I remember correctly

There's some interesting figure in that butt stock, pretty cool. Good for you for breathing life back into it and making it a fun and practical plinker.

A Ruger 10/22 is a great choice. Lots of after-market configurations and parts. Reliable and accurate. I just got a Ruger precision rimfire myself.
I have a GSG-16 and I like it.

Of all my rimfires I think I shoot my Savages the most. I have a couple of CZ 452's, three Henrys, a few Rugers and GSGs, and a pile of Mk 2 Savages. Probably a few others I'm not thinking of.

The Henry levers are fun plinkers, the pump is fun but definitely not as smooth, the action was a lever adapted to a slide. Still fun when you remember to keep the web of your hand clear of the bolt....
