My Custom [by Leeper] 700 Remington with the tiger maple custom shop lumber and McGowen barrel, chambered in 308 Norma Magnum.
It now wears a 3½-10x40 Leupold with the B&C reticule.
Shoots very well indeed, and a 180 at 3100+ or a 200 at 2970 is very persuasive, indeed!
This is three shots @ 100M with the 180 TTSX and IMR7828

Along the same lines as Eagleye, except that my 308 Norma Magnum is a Schultz & Larsen model 65DL.
And it does shoot well.

A totally custom built Ruger single in an obscure or obsolete cartridge had been a dream of mine for many years, so finally one day I asked Leeper to build it for me, and away he went!

I have lots of rifles, old and new, all different actions and calibers, but if I had to get rid of all but one,..I would keep my Browning A-Bolt ll Medallion with BOSS in 30.06. I know, I know,..it's a boring rifle in a boring caliber, but it is a one hole shooter and the old tried and tested 30 caliber of 1906 is the most versatile cartridge ever made,....it just plain out and out does the trick in any situation.
Now with all that being said,..if I was going to build a rifle that would fit my stile of hunting,..it would be a Browning BAR Shortrac Oilfinish in 358 Winchester with a Aimpoint red dot sight on it.

Custom walnut stocked mark X Mauser action in 458 wm it has rose wood grip and for end tips with maple and mahogany inlays with hand cut checkering. Fits me perfectly. And the 458 can handle anything I wish to hunt with it. Coyote to elephant. Would love to see some Hornady 350 round nose hit the shelves though

There are a couple of rifles that I would love to find and be in a position to buy...
1) Westley Richards 318. There's one on Guns International from a seller in Manitoba that would be perfect but the $8K ask is a little spendy for me at this point.
2) Rigby 416 Rigby built on a standard length action like Harry Selby's was. Similar to this:

well now, I think we could be friends! I think my Micro Medallions are my favorites in my collection. And I really do want to get a Shortrax oil finished in 7mm-08 or 308.
I had the privilege of spending an afternoon at the range with a super fella who happened to be a South African doctor who had two Rugers with him that day. One was a .375 H&H and the other was .458 Lott. We shot a complete box of .458 (that we hand loaded earlier that day) through that .458 Lott. I was so impressed with the accuracy and the workmanship on that rifle. I would love to have one some day too.
My go-to hunting rifle these days, and has been for about ten years now is a Remmy 700 LSS in .338 RUM. Shoots like a laser and hits like a freight train. Will be my hunting partner until I am too old to manage it.

Wow that is some nice looking rifle Dave. My Choice would be a Remington 700 .338 Win Mag with a Exhibition Grade Walnut stock.

I prefer my Browning A bolt micro medallion chambered in 284 win. It sports a 2-7 compact leupold. It works well here on Vancouver Island for the type of hunting i do. Its a nice compact rifle for the Timber, and it will reach out as well.
