What is your 'Holy Grail' Rifle/Cartridge?

I don't know about "Holy Grail" but this is the finest firearm that I own and it is in the unequivocal "Holy Grail" of all cartridges..........The .375 Holland & Holland Belted Magnum............

It is a Sako A IV Safari I just had restocked and satin blued, not matte but more like a rust satin blue. It holds 5 rounds under and 1 up, quarter rib with express sights, barrel band sling swivel and banded front sight and a 2.5-8 Leupold Vari X III which I'm seriously thinking of changing to a Zeiss Victory Diavari 1.5-6X.

And this is how she shoots..............

You're right on!! VERY nice wood Douglas, a timeless cartridge and one destined to stay around, and good shooting.

My grandpa had his gunsmith friend build for him in the eighties. My cousin who doesn't believe in guns inherited it :bangHead::bangHead: I am trying to weasel my way into it. It is in 6.5-300 weatherby.

That is a beautiful piece and in a worthy cartridge...

Considering the chambering, 1.5X might be nice on the bottom, when you REALLY need quick acquisition...

Winchester Model 70 Featherweight 6.5x55mm

After shooting a buddy's Winchester Model 70 FW in 6.5x55mm circa 1991 that rifle/ctg combo became my 'holy grail'.

They were seemingly "unobtainium" for me until a couple years ago when I was able to score one for myself.

Very nice. A number of years back I sold one I had in 7x57 Mauser to a young guy in our martial atrs club. Here's another model 70 I had, this one in 300WM.
