They are ugly as sin, but apparently reliable and fun to shoot. I wanted to try one. And it's cheap to do.
bought a pair of 1851's last month, still waiting on transfer (ont) and today a pair a 1873's. trying to get set up for cowboy which I was putting off until retirement but now running wildly to find some half decent pistols...
Well, unless The Turd gets flushed before his handgun transfer freeze becomes law, just got my last handgun, a Shadow this weekend. Ordered on June 7, delivered to the Post Office Friday Aug. 19. I also picked up an Eemann Tech upgrade kit, which will get installed after I try the stock configuration for a while. Also have a holster from Soley Canadian on the go, and will probably order some LOK Grips shortly....

Well I guess I lied, it's a Beretta 92FSR.

Ha, there were 2 more left in stock at PR that I was mulling over. I decided to take the dog for a walk and if one was still there when I got home I would scoop it up. Fortunately (or unfortunately) they were gone when I got home. Still hoping to add a .22LR but kind of waiting (hoping) for a G44.
I have yet to see one in Canada, but if I had any money, it would be going to one of these for no other reason than I'm a sucker for early automatic pistols.

I have what I need for competing, bring on the weird old stuff.
This is pretty neat looking. What is it?
I wanted a S&W 629 with an unfluted cylinder in .44 Mag, but I doubt that will work out for me.
I have a Norinco NP40 (CZ clone) frame on the way. I also have transfers pending for a Girsan (Beretta 92 clone) and a Glock G17. I suspect at some point I'll piece together parts for the NP40, so I guess that'll be the last actual pistol I put together, but the G17 might be the last one ordered.
RONG.
Last one is now a Bersa Thunder 380...
