I doubt if there is a one size fits all gunstock, and most hunters aren't inclined to spend the money on fully adjustable stocks. My McMillan A-5 is probably the most ergonomic stock I own, but all of the important dimensions are adjustable on it, and the rifle its attached to is so heavy that I only shoot it from prone. I hate to admit it, because I prefer the appearance of classic stocks, but one of the few factory rifles I'm able to throw to my shoulder and instantly have a perfect sight picture, an easy reach to the bolt handle, and the correct grip size and reach to the trigger, is the Weatherby MK-V. Too bad I won't allow one on the property.
