Forget the rifle nice as it is, I’m into your truck. :d

The old Landy 130. I love it, all coil sprung and not much electronics. No DPF, no EGR, good on fuel, all kept simple.

Few shots up in the hills with the 6.5CM. 1200m rock, hit with two shots I fired. 7mph wind /dialled for. Thought it was ok for a 20" 6.1lb (unscoped) rifle.

The last one for me was a nice little hunting package, M70 375H&H Alaskan with a 1-4x Leupold and four boxes of 300 grain factory Partitions , cased and slung.
There were three shots fired out of it .I put another six through it and sold it to pay for some barreling and stock work on one of my match rifles .

I feel lucky that I’ve acquired most of the firearms I’ve wanted before Covid and inflation, so it’s been quite awhile since I’ve bought anything, but I’m pretty sure this is the last one I did buy. Ross M1910 factory sporter in 303Br. In the near future I hope to load up some rounds that will come close to matching the trajectory of factory irons and take a nice deer but as of right now I’m just a little too busy.

Wow that hat Ross is stunning!

Wife just bought herself a LH Browning X Bolt Hunter in 6.5 CM. She loved shooting mine (All Weather version) and took her two Arapawa rams with it in New Zealand.
So now mine is safe from her taking possession of it!
