I ended up with a Browning .243, but after a season I realize there is no point for me to own 2 rifles with the same parent case. I always carry my tikka instead of the xbolt. Problem is I just can't bring myself to sell or trade the xbolt, I think it just looks handsome. Great reason for hanging onto it eh?

Wow... never heard that before. At one time I had more than forty rifles chambered for 08 case cartridges, 20 chambered for X57 case cartridges and 20 chambered for /06 case cartidges... even now that I have downsized I still have multiple 08 and X57 case chambered rifles. One??? Couldn't do it... how would I choose which to go with? I like shooting them too much. Like Tevia, I can only be pushed so far...

Well, I'd been looking for a Marlin 1894C .357 for about a month and have given up hope...So I researched different rifles in that calibre and wanted one that I could scope...Found the Ruger 77/357 and hemmed and hawwed for quite a bit....anyway I finally bought the baby...It's a bolt action very light bush gun...6.5 pounds or so, comes with rings and base...I've got a Leupold for it so I think it'll turn out pretty good...It's way overpriced as far as I'm concerned but I've heard nothing but good reviews...So hopefully it will turn out to be a good buy.

Haven't shot it yet but I do like the feel of this rifle
