What is your most recent rifle purchase?

That was weird, two-dogs post wasn't there even after I posted, now it is!!
Lol

Congrats bud, nice rifle and in an even nicer chambering!!

I just have chite for luck, if I say something ahead of time, not sure why, but it happens all the time! I just wanted the seller to have shoved it in the mail, at least, before I spilled the beans. Now, I still stand the crap luck of the parcel to not arrive, or arrive in a mangled mess!!

Norinco JW15 .22 13'' barrel backpacker ,shoots just as well as my BRNO,pretty close to the perfect grouse gun,I'm buying more .22's than anything else these days, got my hunting rifles, these are fun guns.Apart from this one my general rule now is not to buy anything younger than I am...(68) I like the older stuff, not into modern semi automatics

This past September I ordered a special Custom Cooper Model 52 that I will probably receive sometime in the new year. This month I purchased a Kimber Model 84L Classic.

Howa 1500 in 6.5x55....not the easiest to find. Have lots of target rifles in this cartridge, but no real hunting rifle.... Hope it shoots as good as my Vanguard in .243.

Putting the final touches on a project rifle that I bought the pieces for recently. It's a Martini action chambered in .454 Casull with a 16" barrel. Makes a nice little carbine, and it'll handle .45 colt loads, or I can load it to low .45-70 ballistics if I want to.

A couple of .308's

I just purchased a CZ 527 Varmint in 17 Hornet. I will keep either the CZ or my Ruger in 17 Hornet, whichever one shoots better, and sell the other one. The Ruger shots moa, but I am hoping for even better for long distance ground squirrels.

Just scored an 'exc' condition Win 70 featherweight [1990's push feed style] in the venerable .30-06 in a trade yesterday.

Didn't really 'need' it but wasn't using the item I traded for it either. Suppose it eventually might find it's way to the EE.

Been around a month or so, but I gave a nice warm spot in the safe to a homely Remington 76, with a 740 magazine. Mounted a cheapy Weaver on some spare rings I had and took it to the range. Three shots was all it took to get sighted, and it really likes the Fusion 180's. I'll take it up north if I get the call up to moose camp next fall.
