Nice! What scope did you put on the Mountain Rifle?
I put a 3X9 Leupold VXll on for load testing.
If it works ok I'll probably leave it on.

Well, in Novemeber of 2015 I bought a new to me Wby,(Series1) VanGaurd in 270WSM and this month in 2016 I bought a new to me CZ455 in 17HMR.

A .204 Ruger in a LH Savage 11 and a .243 Win in a LH Savage FLHSS. Picked them both up on Friday.
The .204 may end up as a .17 Rem or Fireball. The .243 may end up as a 260 Rem or 358 Win. Or I'll shoot them as is. Or I'll sell/trade them off. Donno yet.

Sporterized '98 in 6.5X55 with a Williams peep sight on it!

To say this rifle was sporterized is a bit of a understatement, "heavily sporterized" might be better!
The stock was originally a military stock,if you look at the nose cap you can see where the cleaning rod hole was plugged!
The barrel was obviously replaced with a '96 or similar, seeing how it is stepped ad in 6.5X55 instead of 5X57 or 8mm.
The stock has also had a piece installed just ahead o the front sling swivel, the Williams installed, and the bolt handle modified.
I have several plans for it, either a Timney or a duouble set trigger, if the double set trigger is used I will install a M70 style safety.
If the Timney trigger is chosen it will have the side safety and will install a Santa Barbara tail piece that will clean the lines up.
Maybe a hinged floor plate as well.

Sako AV .375 H&H with Kahles Helia 2-7 I'm looking forward to having a matched set when I pair it with my Sako AV 25-06 and Leupold 3.5-10. I think I'll have the big game spectrum covered with those two, not that there aren't others in my gun room to fill specialty needs.
