What is your preferred AR mag?

Poly? Aluminum? Steel? I’m feeling like buying a bunch mags and am looking for some input. What say you all?

I haven’t tried it yet but I got a 10rd poly IMI mag I’m pretty fond of so far. Hopefully it works. Just need my receivers.

Depends what you want. If you want just standard 5/30 mags, anything by Magpul is solid. USGI's work good, lancer mags are fine but are expensive and don't offer anything better over the latter.

Personally I find the poly mags to be somewhat unreliable when it comes to feeding. They quite often jamb. I like the the metal mags. I have the original 5 round Wyndham which works great plus two other types LAR-15 mags which also work like a damn.

USGI for long term reliability, functionality across the board, weight savings, cost. Add in Magpuls to smooth out the edges/better grip

USGI's 30 rounders. Work in all guns and when they start sucking you smash them.

I use metal STANAG mags in my AR.

Pmags or lancer awm mags for functionality. The lancer awms especially if smoked or clear look cooler so edge ahead.
