In order of “accuracy” among the builds I’ve done:
Barnard S
Barnard SM
BAT Repeater SA
KSA Repeater
Stiller Predator
TC Icon
Rem 700’s

Not in any particular order
Omark- love God three lug action after they are the- barreled
Musgrave just a good action
Ruger No.1 probably my favorite all around action except for a Palma rifle
RPA love The action , nothing negative except the price
Angel hard to find but super action , simplicity
Rem 40X what's not to like ??
Winchester 52 the two 52's I owned were both fantastic smallbore actions
Anschutz 54 my favorite smallbore action , easy to tear down and super accurate
Strella - amazingly accurate but monstrous overbuild for a smallbore rifle - three lug bolt bigger in diameter than a Sako magnum bolt for 338 Lapua !
Savage 110 single shot - easy to build off and the- barrel , inexpensive but accurate .
I own or have owned all these actions in match rifle configuration .

Hart
Musgrave

I have a M14 with Hart barrel best result .73 MOA very accurate for semi auto .

Hart is working with Smith enterprise to rebuild M14 for 101 airborne , new Hart barrel , called Crazy horse ,

My next project I'm going to build a bolt gun with Hart

Hart is one of the old US accuracy oriented businesses.
I have two vintage benchrest rifles from the Hart shop. One is a 6x47 Light Varmint built on a sleeved M700 action. The other is a .222 heavy Varmint with a Hart 1A action. This is the heavy action with large extended receiver.
Are Hart barrels currently the same company as RW Hart who made the actions? Were they? Are they?

I’ve used lots of different actions over the years; Remington, Tikka, and other factory actions. All worked ok. To me, tikka was the best of the entry-level stuff.
For high end factory stuff, you can’t go wrong with an Accuracy International. I’ve owned 3 and they are the equal to any custom action in my experience. They are sturdy, silky smooth, short bolt throw, and is as good as anything else, imo. It’s too bad you can not buy just an AI action though, it’s a whole rifle or nothing.
Also have had a couple Surgeon 591s builds, and they are certainly a good action, but not the equal to my current Impact 737. Replaced my Surgeons with the Impacts and would not go back. The Impacts are smoother, and better tolerances for firing pin hole etc. Plus I’ve seen from personal experience, they are an incredibly tough action.

First time I heard they make action , they do barrel only. And custom precision build bolt guns.

Tacops recommend Surgeon 591 , I remember I spoke with him over the phone to order Tango 51 . I will look into impact 737 that's new to me.

What make this special for you?

I'll take some photos of the 1A. Some used Remington bolts, others used their own bolt that was similar. This one has a Remington bolt. Early pattern without the anti-bind groove in the right hand lug. Trigger is a Hart 2 oz.
