Rem Custom Shop manuf a dozen of the Int'L 2oz adj shoe trigger groups-R.W.Hart manuf hundreds of the Int'l trigger groups.
722,721 & 4,5,6 digit Rem did not have the anti bind slot in the port side bolt lug until 7 digit receivers of '72-'73.

DANS40X and Jefferson have apparently had poor personal interactions with the owner or founder of Defiance, ergo all Defiance are junk.

All Stiller's are apparently impossible to properly time the primary extraction or something, which is odd since I've seen a fair few that worked fine.

Surgeon, no idea. Maybe the owner said something mean to them online.

Here is a Hart 1A. Heavy varmint. Happens to be .222, so uses Remington bolt with small face. Note plunger bolt stop/release.
Leupold scope has been boosted. Sufficiently vintage that it is stocked up in walnut, and is held together with screws.

Perhaps that fact will dissuade me from plowing through “new posts” in future.

For a pure hunting rifle I like the M70 crf, HS precision and the husky push feed. Target action would be Borden, defiance deviant. Lots of good actions out there these days. Just picked up a Terminus, it seems to be well done but time will tell when the rifles all together.

I find that an odd choice for the "junk" list. I love the Mausingfield actions. Some excellent gunsmiths swear by them.

Nothing wrong with the Surgeon, IMO. People do love the Impact, though I know Mike R. of TacOps had a bad experience with the owners (not sure exactly what) and he won't touch an Impact.
