I'm not sure I am missing a screw or something, either which way my mags with this coupler are pretty loose. I saw someone used heat shrink tubing to go over the coupler. Can someone tell me the size and diameter of a shrink tube I would need. I went to HD and they had many kinds. Thanks,

here is a pic of the mags, I pushed it down to show what it looks like when it's loose, and it slides like that pretty easily:

acoording to pictures i've seen i think you're missing a screw thats supposed to go into the tip of the coupler and act as a retainer for both mags.

I have some sort of screw in it that came with it but it is pretty small but I don't see a place to screw something in over it. Can I just put shrink tube over this to hold it all together?

I think I am going to use electrical tape for these mags lol

But can anyone recommend 10rnd mags with a coupler that works for it? And a link please :) Thanks

The type 2 or the type 1? Which do you prefer?

They both work with these mags? http://www.theammosource.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14_212_64&products_id=157

Most people use the Type 2 LAR-15 Couple for these as they are a straight body mag

Type 2
"Best used on LAR magazines which have a straight body and angled base. These are the couplers that work best with the brands of LAR-15 mags that we currently sell."

Sounds like type 2 were designed with your style of mags in mind, type 1 "If you use them with straight body mags(like the ones you have) they create an odd angle."
