Looked around and found this .one of the first groups I shot with the pre-accutrigger savage mk 2 fvt that I had at one time .if i recall the ammo was federal gold medal .
I have a little French 22, and this is the best I can get it to do at 50 yards, and yes this is a 5 shot group. This is the kind of accuracy I expect from my 22's
When I got my Remington 597, you could not use the word `accuracy` in the same sentence when talking about that gun. 10 shots from a bench at 25 yards looked more like a shotgun pattern. Now, about 4000 rounds later, it seems to be getting better. I can pretty consistently hit shotgun shells at 20 yards with open sights.
Most shooters do not have the talent and ability to justify the very expensive .22 ammo, me included. I use CCI standard velocity with good success and the cost doesn't break the bank.
Shot these targets at a club match today. Range was 100 yds. No wind. The 10 ring is 1 1/8" (outside diameter.) This shows what a modestly priced .22 rifle (Savage BTVSS) can do with the right ammunition and good conditions.

No picts to post but I can shoot one jagged hole at 25 yards with my savage mark II with the accutrigger - and an inexpensive scope - the Mark II has to one of the least expensive tack drives out there...
Here's best one from today fired out of a brand new CZ 452 American, this was after 100 rounds down the barrel. I expect the groups to shrink after installing a Yodave trigger spring kit in it.
