What kind of cgner are you?

I just like guns.
I shoot em, collect em, mod em, and rub em down. I like my stuff to look good but I don't like "safe queens" either.
I appreciate the history of my milsurps, and the awesomeness of my black guns.
I love to field strip them and just admire the way everything fits together, how simple they really are, yet how long it took to get to where they are now.
I guess I'm kinda all of the above?

admitting your problem is the first step to recovery. LOL, I sure am itching to buy another one, I'm in the same boat as you, an addict, its a good addiction though. addicted to all of the above, using them for the purpose they were intended.
I am an addict... Period. JP.

I'm here for the free smokes and booze I get from greentips when I let him rub my.....guns.....yeah....guns....that sounds plausible.....you guys'll buy that....right? Guys...? Right?!?! Where're you going, guys? Don't leave me! When you leave, he breaks out the lotion! Guys! Come Back!!!!!

Are you a:
collector
shooter
a clean and rub and put back in the safe
a historian
a rifle engineering fan of the way it was put together
a modder - muzzle breaks, scopes, bipods, butt pads, etc
a bubba - thinking you know better than the rifle designers and think you can improve it by getting out the hack saw and drill

I am a cgner that likes to buy rifles and shoot them and see which country produced the best rifle and to see if that country won the war because they had the best stuff. I also like to add stuff to my rifles to improve them wihout changing the rifles perminantly.

In my opinion:
Canada built the best target rifle(ross)
England built the best bolt action(LE)
Russia built the best semi-auto rifles (svt-40 and sks)
USA built the best machine guns (M2, Thompson, 1919, 1918)

I will have to disagree with your last point. The german STG44 Sturmgewehr and MG42 were the best design mg's that other countries copied.

Unapologetically Bubba/Modder. Currently working on a mod that moves the pistol grip and trigger closer to the magazine on an SKS. I'm not sure how one can be a good tinkerer without being an engineering fan too

I'm working on this too! How far have you gotten?

I'm also all of the list. "doesn't matter, have gun"
