There are a few killed off of the 1000 Islands every year. I know of one killed near Brockville. A few Eiders filter their way down as far as Kingston aswell and the was an immature King eider killed on the Rideau river last year.
I am near the Cornwall area and came across a small group of these earlier in the season... they weren't on the ST. Lawrence, they were in a local swamp.... wierd...
