What kind of fish is this?

That is a carp. That is most definately not a bass.

Some folks eat them, after leaving them in an old bathtub for a week with fresh water running through it, or so I've read.
 
Incidentally, predatory fish (bass) have mouths that are in front of their heads, so they can see and bite something.

Bottom feeders, (carp, suckers, sturgeon) have mouths on the bottoms of their heads, so they can suck mung up out of the mud.....
 
Looks like carp (young) but never seen that kind of head on a carp.
Caught in Southern Ontario: I would never eat it.

haha its with my iphone no flash no nothing.
 
Those pictures aren't exactly 'picture perfect' :D so I don't recognize the exact species, but its a coarse fish (carp, sucker, etc) based on the scales. They are all edible with white flesh, but the typical north american palate doesn't regard them highly. :p What does the mouth look like?
The 'bumps' on its nose are a big WTF.

haha I caught two of them and they both have that! Thats what made me post this up, Ive never seen bumps on fishes.

Anyways I still have a 60cm rainbow I caught last weekend to put on the grill!
