What kind of gun is this? From where?

Trying to figure out what kind of rifle this is and from where, and roughly how old.

The gun appears to be a air rifle and the writing on it appears to be from India, Pakistan or somewhere in that general area. The mechanism looks the same as is used on BSA air rifles. You #### the gun with the long lever and drop a pellet in the small hole then rotate the piece with the pellet to align with the bore
