What kind of gun is this?

I think this gun was originally from Greece. As far as I can see there is no writing on it, no ammunition size and belonged to an ancestor and now belongs to my dad. It stands to be about 5 foot 6 inches tall. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Can you get better pictures of the Lock and side plate, Trigger guard and buttplate please.. also is it hex to round barrel with 2 or so wedding bands?? The pictures of the artwork on the stock are nice but close ups of the metal would be help more. I almost think French Fusil? Fowler? I donno need more pictures!! LOL!

I am under the impression that the gun was made as a full stock in Belgium then after hard times maybe in India, found itself in its present form. I think maybe the forestock got broken and was cut back and ramrod pipes added to the barrel.
The carved dolphin to me is typical of Belgium but the brass bound barrel looks like a later change somewhere like India as does what appears to be brazing on the back of the lock.
Time period; 1800 ish maybe. If the barrel can be removed, I am guessing you will find ELG* in an oval on the bottom at the breach end.

Thanks for the replies! Any idea of value? My dad told me that he saw an idential one in Greece for 7000 Euro back in August, but it doesn't look to hold much more than sentimental value.
 
I think in a gun show it would be listed at about $300 and probably sell for $200 but that is just a guess. I think it is mostly an interesting curiosity.
I think at $7000 euros, if that is anything similar in cdn dollars, the gun would have to be either a high quality British gun or have some pretty unusual and elaborate history associated with it.
