What kind of illumination system are you running?

I run lights on my carbines with great success but was wondering how others run lights of their pump actions. Mount to the fore grip or clamp to the barrel/ mag tube? Tape switch of tail cap ?

inforce wml on magpul forearm.
yup, I'm a fan boy, and yup, it works really well. :D

It uses an angled 'tail cap', so it's easy to hit with your thumb while maintaining a solid grip on the pump.
 
You can't shoot at the range at night so there is no reason to mount a light on your gun!

Sorry, just trying to beat the guys who actually believe that. I used to run a dedicated Surefire but I use my TLR-1s now.
 
I'm not running any lights actually. I can't see any, practical application for the light on my shotgun.
If I'll ever change my mind I may pick up something that will not exceed 100 lumens.

I have an Elzetta Shotgun mount on my 870 that I can quickly snap my EDC light into.
I have the tape switch but rarely use it as it means changing tailcaps and I'm lazy :)

Good combo for quickly mounting / removing a 1" diameter light from your shotgun. If you have the right kind of tube.

For those that say no need to have one. Some of us do more then just sit on cgn and #####.
Camping ,boating ect. As well as the truck gun. All need lights on them
 
X2 BBB. I'm still a fan of the SF forends. I tried the light mounted via the magazine tube/barrel back when I had an 870 Police. Just not streamlined enough for me.

+1 while not all of mine have them the ones that I keep for just in case, truck gun, closet gun,quad gun they all have them.
 
So I decided to go with the Inforce wml momentary on only. I thought that this being a pump , that I should keep the clutter to a minimum and avoid the wire and pressure switch. It has worked out great! The placement on the Magpul fore end feels so natural and is always at the ready. This shotgun is almost complete , I just got the barrel ready for shipping tomorrow. It's off to Tacord to be ported and have the forcing cone lengthened. Really liking this setup :D




 
Anyone have anything mounted on a fabarm martial composite or pro forces? I'm heading out for some camping deep in grizzly country and bubba'd something up but would like to get something decent on there
 
SF dedicated on my 870. just incandescent right now. Going to do a LED upgrade soon. Had a 6p and later a defender 2 on a barrel clamp.
disliked it. got hung up on stuff.

Nothing on my 18.5" 930 yet- waiting on more options.
