What do you guys use as lube on the receiver rail where the bolt head (#9 on the diagram in the manual) and bolt body (#5) glide on?

Coming from the M14s platform I always use grease which the lug and roller bearing glide on the receiver rail but is this necessary on the T97?

I know I won't be firing enough rounds to wear the gun out in a short period of time and the gun will probably outlast me (lol) but just curious to see what's most appropiate to use on this platform.

How to lubricate hardened steel:
1. Apply some kind of lubricant.
2. You're done.

Being as the operating system is mostly enclosed, it is not very susceptible to dust and dirt. Oil will work just as well as grease so use what you prefer and don't worry about having the bestest lubricant ever. Gun lubes are so advanced these days that any of them will get the job done. Unless you plan to test the rifles limits with standard capacity mags and cleaning intervals in the thousands of rounds then not much is going to be pushed to complete failure. Except maybe your wallet, but as a gun nut you already knew about that.
