What kind of optics are you running on your Model 7

I recently purchased a Remington Model 7 (thanks again supercub) and am starting to suspect the 1.25-4.5 scope I put on it is a great fit for deer hunting but I am wondering is a 2-7 or 3-9 compact scope is a better fit, since it is a .243 and seems to be demonstrating excellent accuracy potential.

I have sold mine, but it wore a Swarovski 6x36.
6x fixed might be a bit much here in NB.

I put a VXII 2x7 on my Model Seven. It works well here in NB. A 2.5x8 would be a good choice here as well if the OP is needing more power for range use.

imo a 2-7 offers plenty.
I use one on my 35 Whelen, great for up close on #2 yet strong enough to place a shot on a Deer at 300... just the Whelen doesn't like poking out that far.
