It ain't a pig.

It looks like a young or small moose to me.

Having skinned out about 10-20 wild boar heads over the years, and about the same moose,
THats the flattest forehead I've ever seen on a moose.
Foxer, wanna put 20 bucks on it?????????:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

LOL - what, we're going to have it genetically tested? :D

I found a young spike's skull a few years back, had it around the house for a while. It's skull was pretty flat. Thats why i thought maybe a young moose or possibly a horse. (had one of those too for a while). The nose holes seemed a bit small for a full grown moose - but i've only seen the one juvinile skull before - looked kinda like that.

It's not of a horned animal. In bovines males and females both have horns. So it ain't a goat, cow or sheep. Don't look like a moose or any wild animal I've ever killed. A horse skull has more of a convex, roman nose kind of shape, with less forehead brow. Must be a Camel.

I think probably the post that Nine did is right that it is a pig. It ain't a moose. Duck probably and I have only seen adult tyrannosaurus so I am not sur what a baby looks like. The bullet hole idea is also probably right as well, Its just that the nearest farm is probably 150km away?
What about age of the skull, I mean since it has been not with the living??

Fester your signiture line has me thinking that a "firefly" Fireamrs thread is in order. What does the captain carry is it an old steyr?

I am a firefly addict!! I am not sure what the Captains gun is, Maybe I will round up some photos and start a thread, in the Photo Gallery??

I found a couple of bear skulls and a raccoon skull while hunting Woodcock in the bush. Anybody have any ideas on the best way to clean them up so I can put them in the trophy case?????????

Bushes are best cleaned with mild soap and water. You might want to rake around them and do some light pruning in early fall.

I don't think they will grow well in your trophy case though.
