Look like mauser stripper clips, possibly for 8x57.

At least that's what I believe them to be.

They look at little different from my 7.62x51, and the year 49 is too early I believe

If its the year on the back the clip it cant be 7.62x51, If it isnt the year then it could be

7.92, Though they don't work that well in a k98. Pretty poor fit.

The NARROW ones are for a 98 Mauser. These have the THREE lugs per side.

The WIDER ones, if old, will be for a 95 Mauser. They have 2 lugs per side.

The ones with the Diamond and '48' are Czech. It IS the year.
