What kinda scope is on your M-14

Burris FFII 3-9x40 and I am happy with it. I use the gun for general plinking and some hunting at under 200 yards and the scope works well for that.

Leupold Mark II 3x9x40 Tactical with zeiss quick release rings... you know, for when the deer are within hand to hoof combat distance ;) Tis a very nice scope.

NCStar 6-18x52, weaver grand slam medium rings resting on an Arms#18 mount. I have a bushnell elite 3200 mildot that was going to go on this rifle but i was demo-ing this NCStar...... and 2 years and hundreds of rounds later.... it's still functioning as new.

Bushnell Elite 3200 10x Mildot, or else a Bushnell Scopechief VI 4X widefield, or a Bushnell Scopechief VI 3X9, in Leupold QRW rings.

All of these have decent optics, and more important, have stayed togther on the recoil intensive 14.

I am however seriously considering one of the Falcons for my next scope.

Leupold Mark 4 1.5 -5 Illum Ret.

Works great and I love it.

I've also had a Leupold 3- 9x 40 and it worked fine.

I've heard lots of good things about the Bushnell 3200 but my eyes don't seem to like them.

bushnell banner( the old ones made in japan) 4x12 x40
bushnell scopecheif 4x12x40
bushnell banner 3x9x32 on the folder
nd i forget what's on the last one

Do you any of you guys use these scopes for service rifle matches ? How do you find the higher power scopes for snap shooting and rapid fires etc ? I always believed a lower power scope with a wider field of view was an advantage in this type of match, but those high power scopes sure make it easy to see what your aiming at !!

I bought a Norinco M305 a short while ago, and tossed it in the safe with the intention of getting to it after hunting season. I'm toying with the idea of firing it in a service rifle match or two :) and I was curious how guys were setting up theirs for competition .......

:):)

USO SN3 3.2 -17 on one. Leupold Prismatic on another.
Third one has a Sunclear 1.5 -4 (what can I say i ran outa cash :) ).

All of them have been good but I have only used the Prismatic for a short while.
