What kinda scope is on your M-14

No, but I was thinking about a 4-14x50 gen 2 that I could get my hands on. Just wondering if anybody else has had one? How does it work? How accurate is it at longer ranges?

Leapers 3-9x40 rubber armored from Marstar; started out as a stopgap until I could afford a "good scope", but two years later, my rifle shots .75" with it and I've got no complaints.

currently iron sites, Had one of the lower rate bushnell (one below the elite) but the recoil ate it. Lenses fell out and rattled around inside the scope tube. Bushnell sent me a new replacement, but that went onto another rifle. Gave away the crappy leepers mount and never bothered to get a better one.

iron sights work fine for me.

Now to select the rings. :runaway:

Currently a Bushnell 3200 3-9X40 with ballistic reticle, sitting in Burris rings on an ARMS 18.
Gotta say Dimitri's Accupoint looks like a sweet way to go... albeit out of my current budget.

Just sent an EMT for $ 331.47 to CyberK (Allen Gun Works) for a Falcon 1.5 x 5 x 30mm. Will be using this scope for Service Rifle matches and also some deer hunting (more like wandering around the woods with a rifle in hand) and coyote harvesting. Mounted an ARMS 18 with (no joking) a set of Millett Angle Loc rings. Some people swear AT them, I swear BY them. I'll get back to you on how well the Falcon CQB style scope works. :D

Cheers,
Barney

No real scopes yet, but I am looking at the new 30mm 1x4 Trijicon AccuPoint
with an Amber triangle to replace the Aimpoint Micro T-1 on my MK14 SEI Mod 1.
