More weight for better recoil management.

Looks more tacticool.

When zombie apocalypse comes, you are ready.....because it`s a proven fact that more of the zombies will be fought in the dark.

Hello. I'm new to firearms. Is there a legitimate reason to mount a gun light on a pistol in Canada, such as a SureFire for example. Thanks.

Same reason as having cars on our roads capable of tripling the speed limit..because its nobody elses business and not illegal until laws are broke.

Other than the odd range that holds night shoots or LE/Military training given our already limited use of handguns there really is no good reason to own one of these. Home defense would be a fantastic reason if only it were than simple. Even using a baseball bat to protect yourself and your family can land you in a heap of legal trouble as you already know. Let alone a restricted firearm.

But hey, if it makes you feel cool, then rock on. This sort of thing is a marketer's wet dream come true.

For safety when the lights go out or in low light conditions. Practice at the range so you are used to the extra forward weight.

Uh oh !! What do I do now ?? Please help !!!
I took one of the batteries out of the light attached to my pistol. I am afraid I am now in possession of an "80% flashlight"!!! Should I turn myself in ???

3 Gun night shoots. Think Petewawa did one last year for their Halloween zombie night 3 Gun Match.

Also just in case home defence I guess. Otherwise just tacticool.
