What loadout for canadian infantry?

Well, I didn't pay $1000, I paid $900. Pictures don't go it justice, it's covered in British proofs, and the scratches arent nearly as obvious without camera flash. I bought it from an older gentleman who's getting out of collecting, he had a display at a recent gun show and showed me the list of things he still had at home on the Saturday. I convinced him to bring it in on the Sunday and put it aside for me - by the time I got there he told me he'd had several offers on it already. As for what it's actually worth in Canada, I have no idea. I'm confident I could get $2000 for it in the States, up here I'd expect less.

Incidentally, if you like that, you should know I'm getting very close to breaking down and buying his Webley-Fosberry.

Hi Guy's
The Canadian Soldier on D Day 6 June 1944 was armed with the kit listed in most cases.1 Can Para was supplied from British stocks British 6th AB

Rifle Lee Enfield No4 Mk1* .303
Revolver S&W M&P .380 Inglis Browning MkI* 9mm some units never did received Inglis pistols.
Sub Machine Carbine Sten MkII 9mm
Light Machine Gun Bren MkI MkII .303
Except for S&W Revolvers Canada made all Basic Small Arms that being said some equipment could have from other supplies.

Anyone here know what the Canadian soldier's loadout was in terms of ammunition? How much and how carried? I see these little ammo pouches at the gun shows that look like they hold two stripper clips each. Did they carry the cloth bandoleers?

Hi Guy's
The Infantry was not issued with the cartridge carriers they were issued the basic pouch
The Riflman carried basic load of 50 rds in Charger and extra bandoleers 1 No36M Mills Bomb each member of the section also carry extra Bren Mags on D Day they carried extra ammo to last until the CQMS got a shore. There was no set load when in combat.
Cheers
