What lube do you use?

I recently took a course on reloading to get started and didn't quite realize that the process of lubing and cleaning off the lube was a bit more of a PITA than I had imagined.

What do you guys use to make this job easier? I've heard Imperial Die Wax is a good product. Yet others prefer the spray on type. The Lyman 49th edition manual points to dipping the neck in some mica thing.

I'd appreciate your opinion.
 
I have tried several commercial lubes and an online home made one. It's made with 4 parts of 99 % Isopropyl Alcohol found in almost every drug store and 1 part of Liquid Lanolin which I sourced online. You mix it up and spray a light coat on, wait a couple of minutes and the alcohol disapates and leaves a layer of Lanolin which is very slippery and easy to wipe off, and it's cheap to boot. Just rem,ember to shake up the bottle a little bit before you use it just incase the Lanolin might seperate, which I have never seen to date.

+1 it's what dillion does and sells.

i haven't bothered to buy lanolin yet and i got a bottle of lee's sizing lube. i mixed it 4 parts or more with 99% isopropyl and it works great.
 
What I use..

Pistol brass gets a light spray of "Pledge" and left to dry overnight- slips in and out of my Lee carbide die with noticably less effort.
Rifle brass gets a touch of "Vaseline" below the case shoulder.
 
I have been using Imperial sizing wax for several decades now, and have yet to find a superior product for sizing.
It takes so little to do the job, and is easily removed after.
Maybe slightly slower than a spray on, but I am not pleased with any of those I have tried.
I use carbide with my 357, so no lube needed there.

Imperial, second to none. Effective, a little goes a long way and it's easy to clean off. It's by far the best I've ever used. A close second is a product from Hornady, Unique Case Lube.
 
I use unique case lube, picked it up from P&D in Edmonton. I like it a lot, a little goes a long way. I've read on other forums that its basically mink oil (feels and smells the same) which you can pick up at your local shoemaker.
 
I lube 100 to 200 cases at a time. Put the cases in a plastic pail, smear a 1 inch worm of Lee lube around the inside of the pail, put on the lid and swirl for 30 seconds. cases are now all lubed with a tich in the case mouth.

Lee lube is water soluble and wipes off with paper towel easily.

Wow... That's thick.

I mix at 1 part liquid lanolin to 12 parts 99% ISP.

Wrks like magic
