I have the following:

Svt-40
Mosin
Lee enfield no 4
Lee enfield no 5
SKS

I was thinking m1 garand. Am I missing any British rifles? I would like a Ross but they make me nervous don't want to loose some teeth or a thumb.

Shooting a Ross is not more dangerous than putting butter on a toast...... Manys of us here have shot Ross and we are just fine.

Joce

Swedish 1896 Mauser
Swiss K-31
Steyr-Mannlicher M95/34
You can get the above from TradeEx

And last but not least, a K-98, from who knows where?

sks for my birthday and two crates of ammo is what ive been floating between a tavor, a cz 58 non restricted or xcr, m 14, mini 14 or mini 30. The sks needs no sights so it is the poor mans choice i might just have to buy. i shot one for the first time a week ago and i have been dreaming about one ever since. They are the best deal going the americans are paying like triple. the closest thing i got to a semi is a 1943 1894 its fun but not auto loading fun. a garand would be awesome but the ammo and gun are a little rich plus i wanna shoot the crap out of it till the barrel is no good. i dont think i could ruin a garand by shooting it and still fell ok about it. however at 500 for a gun plus ammo its sort of cheep enough you could buy a couple and still enjoy them. i defiantly want a tt-33 maybe that's the combo i should go with an sks and tt 33

No no, Rosses are very dangerous and should be mailed to me free of charge!!!! Haha. Joce is so right, a Ross is safe and in IMHO is the finest surplus rifle EVER made!!!

Ross. You are canadian , eh.
I've heard tales of rough triggers and big recoil on M-95's
Swede mauser's are top notch and under valued right now, the cartridge is a kissing cousin to a 270 Win. as well.
I find that k-31's look peculiar to me personally
My 2 cents

Chilean mauser 1912.

LOL, that's next on my buy list. Need one to go with my 1912 Chilean Steyr-Hahn
Springfield built Krags are pretty cool too. A bit of an underpowered round but a very smooth action and a really cool loading mechanism.

I have a Garand and a Ross, both are well worth the effort to own. With the Garand you have the first semi auto in history that received credit for winning the war and all the following guns were based off of it, a super piece for anyones collection. Now, the Ross, has a confused history of which I will clean up. The gun did not do well in the trenches during the war if it had to injest dirty ammo, such as covered in mud whereas the Enfield would fire anyhting and was the favored rifle. First of all the Enfields chamber was machined on the loose side to compensate for dirty ammo. The Ross was built to such extreme tight tolerences that it could not use dirty ammo without jammimg, and the bolt design of the m10 led itself to be rerassembled wrong which caused the issues, not the gun itself. The Ross guns floating around to the best of my knowledge have had the bolt riveted so that the operator could not screw it up. The bolt design is super stong and nothing to be afraid of. And as far as being a quality shooter, the Ross riflke was the prefered rifle of the snipers because it was so dam accurate. I love my Ross, I love my Enfield but the Ross is better built and am proud to own and shoot them both. There are few M10 Rosses floating around, so if you find a nice one, with the bolt revited, give it good concideration for your collection.

As for me, Below are the list :

-Izzy SKS 1953 non-refurbish, non-issue ( already bought and on the way )

Currently, my next purchase will be

-SVT-40
-Mosin Nagant
-M1 Garand
-Springfield 1903
-M1 Carbine
-Lee enfield ( that the last option since I already have AIA M10 No.4 MK IV )
