What milsurps might North Korea have tucked away in storage?

The DPRK is also one of the largest arms dealers on the planet. Not that you would know as they hardly release that info at all. I wouldn't be surprised if a great deal of the older, pre-1960's stuff has already gone to places such as Africa and North Vietnam. Then again, made they pulled a Yugo and are holding on to vast amounts of stuff, we just don't know.

Because their entire defense plan is probably based on the assumption that every citizen should mount an armed resistance by whatever means possible, i'm guessing its safe to say they are sitting on some pretty full stock piles.

I would however be curious as to whether anyone can confirm ever seeing any DPRK manufactured arms anywhere in Africa.

I'm guessing that at this point in time, its probably likely that its public knowledge as to where a lot of the stuff they sold went to, and where it ended up.

I think North Korea would be hard pressed to convince all of their citizens to fight to the death for their rights to oppression and starvation. Most are in the army for the food.

haha you don't "join" the army in North Korea! If you thought brainwashed idolization of Stalin was bad, you have no idea what it's like it North Korea! Kim is regarded as a god, much like the emperor of Japan was. North Americans and most Europeans literally cannot comprehend the societal mind-set that exists there...

I won't be surprised if cash strapped NK melted all their captured guns and recycled them into AKs.

100% The DPRK will export anything to anybody, once their check clears. I am betting that all 'obsolete' guns (aknowledged that that term has a different meaning in North Korea) were sold off long ago to anybody who was willing to pay, no questions asked. Gotta keep the Divine Leader on his throne.
