I came across this pistol while at an auction, any idea what the model is and approximate dollar value? I'm sure someone here has the answers I need!

I recall Browning bringing in some pistols into the US with the target type sights following the '68 GCA - having the sights and full sized grip permitted importation. Can't tell if it has the slide extension like the 1922. Is it 7.65mm or 9mm short? No idea of its value. If its 9mm, it would be a lot more saleable than if its 7.65 - but if you have 12(6) status you might get it for a low price.

Thanks guys for the info. I am still not sure what to offer for it. It needs the screw in retainer at the end to hold the spring and barrel in place. Anyone know where to start looking for the parts?

I would assume that because it is marked FN, etc. and not Browning Arms, that it was not originally made for North American sale. But you could phone Browning's Cdn. parts distributor, Western Gun Parts in Edmonton, and see if they have parts. It isn't all that old, so they might.

Your gun is a FN M1910/22. It is different from the model 1910 by the extended slide and elongated butt. This gun was very succesfull.
There is many variation, and the rear sight might and might not be original.
You can learn a bit more in the book ''Pistol of the World'', 4th Edition, page 122.
