What model of Remmington is this?

But when I took it out of the safe it says Model 700 on the side. It looks exactly like that picture with a fluted barrel and wood stock is identical. It is in 270 WSM caliber. Is mine a CDL?

Should be. Think Chevy trucks. A Silverado is a model 700, Silverado LS is a Remington 700 SPS, the Silverado LT is a Remington 700 BDL, the Silverado LTZ is the Remington 700 CDL.

Yeah, mine is the same it is a M700 CDL Stainless Fluted. Great rifle...

The trigger pull sucks on it, and I have heard bad news about the saftey somehow making it impossible to shoot.

you can adjust the trigger safely and easily right at home. I've done many 700 triggers. lots of "how to" guides on the web.

as for the safety, well I never use mine.
