What model Sako is this is?

A while back I picked up a beauty little Sako .222, but I'm unsure of the model. It's a petite little rifle, with a detachable box magazine. Looking for some help to identify the model? Value?

I do believe it is either a L46 or L461.

Is it not stamped L46 on the recevier?

That is a very early production L46 Sako. As it has the wing safety not the big box safety with the rotating lever on the right side. All L46 had the detachable magazine.

If you remove the front scope base you shound find a circle with L46 stamped in it.

Depending on the condition it's a nice find and probably a very good shooter.
