1) 3.5 lb. connector
2) Wolff spring kit (competition weights)
3) TruGlo fiber optic/Tritium sights

Tried the NY1trigger spring and then removed it. The reset was very positive, but it increased my trigger pull from 4.75 lbs. to around 7.2 lbs.

I have a 4.5 Ranger connector that I may install for an upcoming IDPA match. It increases the weight slightly (5.5 lbs?), but seems to have a crisper let-off.

My newly purchased Glock 22 (from EE) had a HORRIBLE trigger, gritty and stiff. The gun had been painted a couple times when i bought it, dirt and over-spray all in the "guts" and lube everywhere where it shouldn't be (striker channel, trigger bar, safety plunger). Looked almost like the Glock from those torture test videos :p ...I can't really complain though, I got it real cheap. I should have taken pictures but my sister has the digi-cam.

I detail stripped it and found it has a (+) connector and stock trigger spring!

Anyhow after cleaning it all up nice and reassembling it, I'm kinda starting to like the (+) connector. The "take up" is still mushy but I can really feel the "break". So I pretty much just pull the trigger till it gets firm and squeeze thru the "break".

I'll have to try it out on Friday and see how it shoots. If it sucks, I think I'll go (-) connector and NY1 spring

b. Non-plugged hi-cap magazines are prohibited and illegal

Hello, if anyone here is interested in Glock magazines, I have 6 very new .40 S&W mags. 4 of which are full metal lined. All of them are Hi Cap mags (16 rounds-never been plugged) I will make time to post HQ pictures for all to see asap.

Hey guys, getting a Glock soon. I want to take full advantage of my Glock's popularity for aftermarket parts to do a few things like make the trigger better and replace some parts to make it a but more durable. It's the reason I'm taking the G17 over the Steyr M9A1, as in the eventuality of s**t hitting the fan or any situation, I do want to keep it as stock as possible.

The two main things are the spring guide bar and the trigger. First, the spring guide bar. Should I get a normal steel one or a "captured spring" guide bar?

I'm planning on getting one of those 3.5lbs trigger disconnectors. The Ghost Rocket one looks like it's the best one, but can I expect the same level of reliability with a lighter disconnector as with a stock one or with another brand and type of 3.5lbs disconnector? Finally, are there any other ways to give it the best trigger while ensuring a positive and reliable primer strike? Should I get a light disconnector, a light trigger spring and a heavy striker spring, or would that simply not work?
