what mold to get for my 30-30 win? 170g fn 4 holer.

The classic and prolly the best 30/30 mold is Lyman #311041 a 173 or so grain flat pt. gas check design that is accurate in all my .30 rifles. It however only comes in 2 cavity, for 4 cavity molds you could try: Accurate molds,Mountain Molds, BRP molds, NOE molds, LBT make great molds/designs and I know they make a 4 banger.....good luck on this project, a mold like the Lyman would make the best deer bullet for the 30/30 if cast to the right harness........Ben
Check out Ranch Dog moulds. They come highly recommended by those in the know (namely, marlinowners.com). I've not used his mould myself, but so many levergun owners can't be wrong eh. 
My understanding of Ranchdog molds is they are still made by Lee using the soft aluminum for the mold, sprue plate, even the screws....they are made for minimal or no sizing and tumble lubing. Prolly not what you would want for serious work and original poster indicated he did not want Lee.
NOE ran a group buy a while ago with the bullet that Ranch Dog designed only with normal lube grooves. There aluminum as well as MP Molds aluminum are aircraft aluminum and are far superior to anything Lee puts out. NOE can make you a mold with the crammer style hollow point also if you want. I have the 311-165GN Ranch Dog bullet from NOE in a 4 cavity and it is a great mold.
