What OAL with 45 ACP lyman bullet 452460

I picked up some 200grain 45 ACP Lead SWC bullets at a gun show recently and they are shorter that what I was using previously. They are .600 inch compared to .645 inch. The mould used to make them was a Lyman 452460. I can't find any listing for oal in any of my loading manuals and don't have the Lyman one.

Anyone have a OAL for them?
 
I always seat SWC right under the shoulder as pictured in your last picture, never had any problems.

If no one has done so by then, I'll check my Lyman manual for ya when I get home from work.

Just being cautious with the sorter OAL 1.170 compared to 1.240 I'm not sure if it can cause any significant pressure increases.
 
The way you've loaded 'em is fine, but you may have to modify your pistol to get 'em to feed and function properly(most likely be fine, but another return spring will fix it if they don't). You won't have any pressure issues. It's just a lighter bullet.

When loading the .45 Auto i used to remove the barrel and drop a loaded round into the chamber, when the length was even at the back, took a measurement, wrote it down and was good to go with 452460, a very accurate bullet and well worth sorting out. Not all chambers will be the same.

Good to know I won't have to worry about pressure issues.

Thanks I will try this with some different lengths to see what I get.

Update: 1.165 OAL is the magic length for my 45
