What optic are you using on your Tavor?

Or Should I just buy a magnifier for my beloved eotech?

Well I run an ACOG 3.5x32 (TA11F) and love it but I just got a nice new Flat Dark Earth Elcan SpectreDR 1-4x for my Mk18 Mod1 build and I'm BLOWN away by it. DAMN clear optics, same reticles as ACOG but including battery backlighting instead of tritium. Also has a powered Red Dot settings which is really nice during the day.

The switch from 1 to 4 is easy and super clear. Optional mount for a Doctor sight on top (no real idea if this is usefull since it already has a 1x optic lol.... but it's a gadget to add to my gadget so I have to have it!).

We'll see how it does in CQB/Service Rifle next year but I'm looking forward to it!

i ran one of my Tavors with an Eotech and magnifier and prefer the Elcan setup much more.

the Elcan 1-4x almost feels like it was made for the Tavor.

i have a Leupold mark4 HAMR with the delta point on top. but if you dont have something else to put that Eotech on just get the magnifier.

i have IOR 1-4x26 on mine, find it kinda heavy.. but great optic, tracks really well.

I'll buy the magnifier right now as I do have another firearm that can take it.
Back to the tavor which is now sitting with factory sights. Right now I'm loving the 1-4s and 1-6s. As much as I love the acog it's out due to fixed power.
Shortly I'll put up one of my target scopes up for sale to help me finance a battle sight...

I'm always interested in comparisons, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wants to send their $2000-$5000 optic out for a loaner.

I was not a fan of the HAMR.
