What optic are you using on your Tavor?

For me and the way I shoot the elcan is by far the best optic. I thought the eotech was to low and maybe needed a riser under it. The Leupold was just for fun when I first got it...A bit heavy...but very nice haha

I have a Lucid HD7. No complaints.

Same here. The Lucid works fine for what I use my Tavor for.

And for the price of the HD-7, you will have a hard time beating that kind of bang for your buck.

ACOG with Doc optic

Elcan Spectre DR 1-4X

EOTECH 553 with 3x flip to side magnifier on Larue quick detach combo mount

All three optics for size comparison. The heaviest is the EOTECH with Magnifier second heaviest is the ELCAN and the lightest by far is the ACOG. Also the kill flashes since I am not at war are mall ninja stuff for looks only, they heavily reduce the clarity of the optics and when using the ELCAN on 1x mode you can see the honeycomb pattern

I'm running KevinB's old ACOG TA31 on mine, with a quick release mount. I'll see about posting some pictures later today. I think the quick-release is a must; I've had as much fun shooting this with the flip-up iron sights as through the optic.

Love the ACOG; I bought it years ago for my AR which never got much use. Now that Tavor has come along and I can shoot in the backyard the ACOG is finally getting some love.

sorry did not read the entire thread just this post. I'm planning on getting a Tavor soon, already have the Eotech for it. Was planning on going for a 3x magnifier as well.

Here's mine with ACOG TA-31. I'm really happy with this setup, especially the single lever quick-release, as I do like shooting with the irons as well.
