What optics on your CZ Scout?

Just wondering what scope everyone is using on their CZ scout 22 LR?

I tried a Scorpion scope originally and dint like it.
Tried a Sightron S1 and found the + hairs too thick.
Then sold the lot.

A Leupold rimfire or even a VX series in 2x7-33 would be a nice fit.

Went big on mine. Crossfire ll 6-24x50, looks good in the Boyd's Evo stock. Handles great, shoots like a CZ should.

I have several of the Leupolds on my CZ 452 rifles that are 22,s, 3-9 EFR's on the 17HMR's.
Nikon rimfire scope are excellent value for the money

Leopold seems to be quite popular. While it is certainly a nice scope, I personally have a hard time paying as much for the scope as for the gun when there are less expensive alternatives that hit what you aim at.

Leupold has dropped the EFR line, and gone to the Freedom series( bigger and bulkier) and if I remember correctly they dumped the 2-7x28 also

One of the reasons that I use Leupold Rim fire scopes is the small ocular diameter that enables the scope to be mounted low on my 452s and not interfere with the cz bolt handle. If you don't mind a higher mounted scope and want to save some $ then a Nikon would be a good choice.

Totally agree. My Scout wears a Nikko scope. Far cry from a Leupold but works well enough.

My 452 American is set up in "Scout" fashion with a Leupold 2.5 x 28 on QR rings.

If you buy a decent Leupold scope, you'll never regret it, the extra couple hundred bucks are soon forgotten. Most VX and FX series scopes will be parallax free at 100 to 150 yards, which is not really suitable for rimfire use, so be sure to get a rimfire specific scope unless you're usually shooting long distance.

The rimfire EFR and rimfire 2-7 were the best options , but Leupold is migrating downmarket with their rimfire scopes. We will just have to wait and see if the new ones are any good.

What are you using the Scout for? ie. walk in the woods plinking within ~ 50yrds? I like fixed power scopes (4x) for quickness. They're usually more compact and rugged.

You want inexpensive....Simmons .22mag 4x fixed. I have one on my jw15 13" compact and it works fine(for the above purpose) but maybe not so much for the scope snobs.
