What original is this Norinco a copy of ?

How often does a situation occur where this "feature" is used ?

When was the last time and circumstance did you Slamfire your Ithaca 37 ?

I don't understand the importance of Slamfire.
When I was 16 years old, pretty much everytime I took the old man's shotgun out. Now practically never lol...

One never knows when the opportunity to sweep the trench of the Hun presents itself.

Their 1911's weren't junk. Having said that, is that a glob of weld I see at the rear of that receiver? WTF?
Negative, it arrived today and I tested it in the side yard.
It's built like a tank like most Norincos.
Here is a better picture.
It seems a bit dry and needs a good soaking if oil.

A good buy, I was looking at it too and really considering it.
Let us know how it shoots once you receive it
I'd say it's one of the best buys I've had on CGN.
It's built tough and surprisingly smooth.
I've spent more on a steak dinner than I did on this.
I haven't figured out what the muzzle threads are for, it has a thread protector also.
The folding stock hinge design could hold up a building.

Neat find. Id advise a teardown and cleaning, but for sure add a drop of green locktight to the smaller lockscrew. I had mine fall out after a session of breaking clays and had to order a spare from Numrich. Like the look of the heatshield and folding stock

Take some Flitz polish to it, you'll be amazed at how much crap is on that finish
I have some of that, best polish there is in my opinion.
Ive already stripped this, polished up some internals and removed machine tool marks, applied purple loctite to where the trouble spots are and applied grease and oil as I saw fit.

It shoots great, feeds and ejects without issue.

Polishing those big sides might be a good way to spend this stormy Sunday.

Their 1911's, Rem 870's (tube fed) and their AR's were perfectly serviceable. I've owned all of those and they worked just fine.
I have owned a few Norks over the years; their bolt action .22s were surprisingly and consistently accurate, including the "Scorpio". I still own one of their 1911s, satin chrome finish, adjustable target sight set up; accurate, reliable and fun to shoot for IDPA. I also have a Two-tone NZ85B; also great gun for IDPA; reliable, tight, accurate. I would have bought both this shotgun and their 870 clone when they were available. Those who have them don't seem to sell them.
