What percentage of Saskatchewn hunters archery hunt mule deer

Can't help you with any numbers, I heard the gov't was considering discontinuing the archery tags due to low sales. That was a couple seasons ago. All I know is that archery muley hunting is a blast! I love it.
 
I know a lot of guys that archery mulie hunt. I really can't see them discontinuing the season- just another silly rumor. I can't believe people actually fall for these rumours all the time. The other day a guy tried to tell me that SERM was planning on opening up the mule deer season( no draw) and completely closing down whitetail hunting.
 
I do. No success yet. They are sneaky creatures. See them in one place so set up there for the next day but when the next day comes they are ¼ mile away lol.
 
I also mule deer hunt with my bow. I got drawn last year and ended up shooting my buck with the muzzleloader. This year I will be heading out with the bow for general archery.
 
I just recently bought a bow.

This last season was my first to try hunting with it.

I happen to live in a zone where archery tags for mulies are available. So of course I bought a license! I didn't fill it, saw lots of does and a couple of spikers, but nothing I felt I wanted to try a shot at...... Anything outside if 20y is out of my comfort zone..... Hopefully by next year I will be more confident in my skills to stretch that out to 40y.....

I don't see SERM getting rid of archery tags anytime soon, harvest rate with them is pretty low.....
