What precision rifle....?

I like this to :) Now to find a builder who isn't swamped.

In my opinion that would be your best bet. Build them as the orders come in and always have a few on your shelf in some of the more popular chamberings. If you build a good solid accurate rifle and back it up with excellent service...guys will buy them from you. The only problem is finding something that will set your rifles apart from everyone else's. You need to be unique. Good luck!

Underground Skunkworks. Finely crafted tactical boltguns in Columbia Falls, MT. The owner seems like a class act as well.

These would be awesome to get into Canada, I've been eyeing them up for when I have the money to make a purchase.

Check them out at undergroundsw.com

two ways to look at this either for volume sales the Remington LE/MIL line is appealing or maybe a niche market like the DTA.

I personally like the DTA system as it seems to bridge the gap between the typical every day models and those speciality rifles it comes in 243, 308, 300WM and 338 Lapua. I would get public interest as these are not low cost items and having inventory chew up your liquidity could cause other problems.

P.S. i do like the idea of being a Canadian distributor of Mcree stocks.

I think I saw this rifle in TSE.

I would think that your best bet is semi-custom. High end parts with a run of custom OSTS stocks from Robertson.

Trying to compete with ATR and PGW is going to be a hard slug.

How about just some plain-jane actions?

No one seems to stock them, and the few that do, typically only shave off fifty bucks of the entire rifle... (right - a stock and barrel are only worth fifty bucks...)

P.S. Look at the Savage actions, builds off a base action are extremely popular.

frankly from the tacticool market, custom 308 dropped in any version of an AICS stock will sell.... hell even dropping a box stock 700P in a aics stock and it would sell quicker then you think.

seriously, nothing beats a remington SPS varmit in .308 mounted in a AICS stock and a simmons scope on top of it using weaver mounting hardware.
