What press do you use and why?

Thanks for the input fellas! Lots of good info here as usual. I had a rcbs partner and a lee turret press. Looks like RCBS wins for rifle. Thanks again guys!

Dave.

I am using a Lee turret press, and if I could meet Mr. Lee today.... I WOULD KICK HIM RIGHT IN THE CLACKERS!!! I can't wait to get my Hornady LnL. Or a Dillon 550..I have had enough pissing around with the Lee turret press to say the least.

One end of my reloading bench has a Bonanza (now Forster) Co-Ax, the King of all single stage presses, IMHO. On the other end is a Rockchucker, a fine press in it's own right. For the money, the latter is a good choice, but if you can pick up a Co-Ax for a decent price, you'll never regret it. Regards, Eagleye.

What features do you want?

1) good primer management

2) whatever else you think you need.

So you're either with a Lee Classic Cast, Forster Co-Ax, or Redding Big Boss II (or overkill on an UltraMag). As far as I know these are the only presses that put the primer through the ram into a tube leading to a container. Every other press, primers go here and there, but not always, and that leads to a lot of extra grit on the ram and linkages.

The C-H passes primers thru the ram and out, as did the A-2 and A-3 rcbs presses. (much better presses than a rockchucker). The Redding turret press also controls primers. Redding as a line of equipment makes wonderful stuff.

RCBS Ammomaster ......... No, I don't have a 50 BMG either.
