What Press do you use???

I use a Lee classic cast breech lock. Probably loaded ~2000 rounds in it, no issues with it at all, except the spot the spent primers drop into needed to be ground out, and I don't like the "easy prime" system.

I plan to go to a progressive once I've loaded maybe 10K rounds, and sure that I have a really good grasp on the procedure. I -love- reloading, almost as much as shooting for some reason.

I use a RCBS Rockchucker Supreme and a RCBS reloader Special 5

I use a RCBS Rockchucker Supreme. Primer catcher needs a little work, but the press is solid.

I put a light compression type spring between the frame and primer catcher to keep the primer catcher against the ram and solved the problem you are likely having too...the spent primers now end up in the trays like they are supposed to, not on the floor or the press by the base of the ram.

Lee single stage here as well. I'll load round #5000 sometime before the end of the month, and that piece of junk has always made perfect ammunition for me. I invested a very reasonable amount of money into a seperate breech lock bushing for each individual die, and I am very efficient on a single stage.

And, while I wouldn't say that the 'easy prime' system is perfect, I do prefer it to hand priming, and have worked it into my reloading routine nicely.

Dillon 1050 with auto drive and bullet feeder and Dillon 1000 with bullet feeder.
I need a lot of custom ammo, don't have time to screw with the press and I find the process of reloading as exciting as watching paint dry.

I have used my dad's old C&H "H" style press for about the last 8 years. And I load everything, including pistol, single stage.
