What price for 9mm and .45ACP to buy a case without a second thought?

What price would a case of 9mm (124gr) or .45ACP (230gr) from a quality brand like PMC, or S&B have to hit for you to buy it without hesitation?

I think you might have missed the key part of the question! Lol. At what price?

I reworded the question so it's a bit more clear.
 
can't shoot without ammo, so I need to buy at what ever is available
if its just for the stockpile, 30% off regular gets my attention

My attention will have been gotten and an order for 3 or more cases. Prices are dropping but not quite there yet, doesn't have to be the brands noted.

My cheap àss has been looking passively for a case of 45acp for a while.. 60+ cents a pull has my wallet saying no. Got stacks of 9mm at round 30 cents.

you have to count the discount though; its about $303 before tax after discount.
not sure why the code (labour) from SFRC is still working, but you get 15% off and free shipping if you nab a case of 1000 from SFRC
assuming 10 am pst is when the code expire, then we still got one hour to go.
 
It's $305.15 before tax. They always let it go a few hours late.

that's slick thanks guys. I am going to get a buddy to stock up as he is always crying about ammo prices. I reload and have a ton of supplies on hand but it's getting the to point of it not being worth it for 9mm unless I am running my cast & PC projectiles. I am about $255 for 1000 if running plated projectiles or about $125/1000 for cast/pc.
 
S&B is great. Love those tiny little compact boxes.

I agree on the reloading 9mm. At this price it's borderline not worth when you factor in time.

Back pre covid $275/9mm and $425/45 ACP with free shipping wasn't uncommon to see. If I could get 9mm ammo at that price I might be tempted to not load for it. But I usually have plenty of free time in the winter and I don't see 9mm for that price anymore.

My cost (not including time) for loading 9mm is about $200/1000 and $250/1000 for 45 I can load 1000 rounds in well under an hour.
