What profile barrels will fit a Troy MCS, where to get it done?

I've been wanting to do a "precision" M-14 setup for awhile on my Troy stocked Norc. Does anyone know if a heavy profile barrel will fit the chassis or is medium profile the max?

Also, with the M-14 Doc closing up shop, where would I get a barrel swap done on this platform?

Bill, as far as I know, there are no barrel profile limitations with the troy. Lot's of clearance in there.

Thanks Tom! I figured you'd chime in with some wisdom. Now that I know I should be able to fit a heavy profile Krieger, any smith's out there capable of doing a swap?

Also, with the Krieger barrel I assume I will require american made gas cylinder and flash hider?

Casey at Tac Ord is probably the guy you want to talk to for a Krieger instal. Jerry at Mystic Precision can get you a barrel and may be able to install as well. He's certainly beyond able, but not sure if he services M1A/M14 rifles.
If you don't have the barrel... Be prepared for a wait.
As for parts "required" , just the gas lock and castlenut will "need" to be an american version. However, for best results I'd swap out the flash hider and maybe the gas system dependingon it's fit , finish and of course function
