There's a big difference between being in shape, and being a body builder.

To look like Arnold or Ronnie Coleman you need a gym (and steroids) To stay in shape, you can take a much simpler approach. Just use your own body weight, and when that gets easy do more of it or wear some weights while you do it.

You'd be surprised how much 10Lbs on each arm and leg effects you in a run ;)

That's pretty much what I said. :D

I have a backpack with a 10 to 15lbs weight when I'm doing push-ups and pull-ups.

gosh.. this thread sure makes me glad that I haven't ever encountered another soul when I've been at the range. I'd hate to imagine the condensation I would be treated carrying my S&W 9mm in its ITAC holster along with my huge cumbersome green camo fanny pack that I carry extra magazines, targets, stapler and of course blackberry in.. Not to mention the mirth that the site of me crawling around collecting my spent brass would likely elicit..

I had no idea that the shooting community would remind me of high school; you better have the right cloths, attitude and know your proper place in the hierarchy or else..

The thing is, most of the guys reading this thread, that think they're so tacti-cool and bad-ass at the range, should be worrying more about the 30-40lbs around their fat f**king gut than some ankle and wrist weights during a run.

Here's a good example. Check the man tits on the tub of goo in the middle. Very, very disturbing......
