What's a good one? I'd like somthing with a larger, hunting style aparture that screws into the side holes of a Winchester Model 70. I also want it to be adjustable but bullet proof. I know Lyman makes some good stuff, but with several models I don't know which one. I put an ad up in the EE but so far no luck. BTW, if you or know of anyone who has one let me know. Not sure what I need yet, but will listen to any advice. Thanks.

The traditional, standby, classic for close to a hundred years, has been the Model 48 Lyman.
The Remington 30 Express, made right after WW One, were drilled for them, as was the old Model 70s and early Husqvarnas.

I have used both Lyman and Williams receiver sights on a pre-64 M70. They both bolt right on but you may have to buy a taller front bead or blade front sight.
The Lyman 57WJS is the model I prefer. I bought one a few years back from Wholesale Sports in Edmonton. Not difficult to find but they are getting more expensive. Around $95 I think I paid.
Here is a link from Lyman.

You get what you pay for. This is from a 1964/65 Ellwood Epps catalogue.
Compare.

Yes, I have the Ellwood Epps catalogue of 1962/63, as well as the 64/65, which I scanned from.
Is there something you would like to look up?
