What reliable fun .22 would you recommend for under $350?

Henry H0001, good enough for accuracy, looks lovely, holds 19(I think) rounds of .22lr and will eat anything you put through it. Only drawback are the irons are sub-par in my unprofessional decision.

I was actually thinking of getting a H0001 Henry lever because my buddy recommended it but the local gun shop said you would have to wait a year is there any way of getting one sooner.

I 10/22 personally isn't the way to go. If you talk to anyone whos owned one, they always end up putting over $500-$1000 in upgrades on the gun.
So $350 for your budget isn't an option.
So many people get sucked in by all the 10/22 hype.
I have the savage and it is a great bolt gun.
Guess it depends on if you want a semi auto or not and what you will be using it for.

Hnatiuks in NS has an H001 in stock. Or they did a few days ago. I imagine they would ship. (You have to call, because they take (FRAUD ALERT), they are not allowed to list firearms on their webpage, crazy)
I lucked into a .22 Frontier (new) at Ron's Army and Navy by chance a couple months back, after being on several waiting lists for the past 6 months. That's one fun little .22.

But yeah, I've heard the old "wait for a year" story from gun stores as well - simply not true, but they're a bit of a challenge to find.

I will just be using it for plinking or shooting the occasional rat or raccoon. I would prefer a stick mag unless I know the gun has a very reliable tube mag. I like the savage semi auto but my brother already has one so a bolt action savage probably.

Ok thanks I will look
Into it.

Cooey 60 or 64 .
$100-$150 .
Solid and reliable . Also very handsome rifles .

No offense but me and two of my friends have or had cooey 60s and none of them worked right and wouldn't stop breaking. I finally got mine to work properly after getting a gunsmith to fix it. It now works great, is in excellent condition, has a 1" scope mount and a custom aluminum trigger. But it had it's chance so I am selling it with the mount for $200 obo in perfect working order if you want it.

The scope mount is worth about $75
